Coronavirus COVID-19

The V&E Program is following CDC, state, and university recommendations to practice social distancing in order to slow the spread of the novel COVID-19 virus. We have temporarily modified our operations to include teleworking options for our faculty, staff and graduate students, but remain available to serve you during regular business hours though email, phone and videoconference. • List of Pesticides Not Needing a Respirator (.pdf) – Respirators used in agricultural pesticide applications can be in limited supplies during this global pandemic (COVID-19). If respirators are not available, it is critical to use a pesticide that does not legally require a respirator. However, applicators/handlers and mixer/loaders are allowed to wear more PPE than required by label and may therefore request a respirator.
