Viticulture and Enology Research

WSU’s growing research program is supported by internationally recognized faculty and state-of-the-art research facilities. We support the region’s winemakers and grape growers—a focus that has led us to collaborate with the industry and to partner with other premier research institutions. We’re committed to helping growers cultivate healthy plants and winemakers craft wines that express the unique characteristics of Washington’s wine-growing regions.
