Habitat restoration using native plants in and around wine grape vineyards has the potential to improve biological control of pest insects and mites.

Dr. David James from Washington State University will present information on research conducted over 5 years in eastern Washington on the best native plants to use in viticulture to achieve enhanced IPM and make vineyards ‘hot spots’ of biodiversity.
