Why send your employees to this event?
Spraying is one of the highest pre-harvest costs for a vineyard. Doing it poorly can lead to increased disease and insect pressure and even unusable fruit. Technologies exist to optimize coverage and increase data acquisition during spraying, but users must know how to use the tools!
Upon completion of this event, your employees will be able to:
- Properly understand calibration and optimization of sprayers through both theories and onsite practice.
- Learn about BMP’s of technologies that include rate controllers, directed and/or over-the-row sprayers, intelligent sprayers, and adaptations to airblast sprayers that improve coverage.
