Wine sales at participating Washington restaurants raise funds for viticulture and enology scholarships

Raise a Glass, Fund a Scholarship returns for the 16th straight year. The four-month-long event raises money to support future grape growers and winemakers of the Pacific Northwest.

September through December, participating Washington restaurants will be featuring wines from Chateau Ste. Michelle and Erath wineries. For every case sold, Ste. Michelle will donate $3 (up to $50,000) to the WSU Viticulture and Enology Department to fund undergraduate scholarships.

Since Raise a Glass, Fund a Scholarship’s inception in 2008, over 350 Washington restaurants have participated, raising more than $600,000 for students pursuing a degree in viticulture and enology.
