Stop the Spread: Phylloxera Walk-in Clinic
September 13, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
What
We will have a walk-in clinic for the identification of phylloxera. Come and learn how to identify phylloxera on roots, or bring in your own suspect samples! We will have microscopes and various phylloxera (living and dead!) displays available. We will also be here to answer any questions you might have on phylloxera management.
Have a sample you want identified? Bring in your root tissue! Please have the roots double-bagged in plastic zip-top bags, and store the samples in a cool, dry place during transport. For more information on how to scout and sample for phylloxera, visit: https://wine.wsu.edu/extension/pest-management/phylloxera/
When
This will be an open-house style walk-in clinic. Stop on in anytime between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
Where
The clinic will occur in the West Building Conference Room at the WSU Prosser IAREC campus.
Registration
Attendance is free, but pre-registration is encouraged so we can prepare enough handouts and contact you in case there is any change in the event schedule. Pre-register at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/stop-the-spread-phylloxera-walk-in-clinic-tickets-692560104917
