Every spring, the Cougar family comes together to recognize generosity, celebrate our successes, and give to the areas that mean the most to us. Generous donors are the foundation of student success, and on April 13, 2022, Cougs will come together and give to the scholarships, programs, and experiences that set WSU apart for the annual CougsGive event. This online giving day allows every Coug the opportunity to support the causes that mean the most them.
The Viticulture and Enology program at WSU is enriched by donors who help to provide scholarships and research funds. We couldn’t do the great work and provide students with as robust of an experience without donor support. To help make CougsGive even more successful, John & Gretchen Bookwalter have offered to support the program with a V&E match and a challenge. The first is the $7500 Bookwalter Match for Viticulture and Enology which will match every gift to V&E, dollar for dollar, up to $7500! The second is the Bookwalter Challenge: 25 Gifts to Unlock $2,500 which will unlock after 25 gifts are given to V&E. There are many ways to support V&E on Cougsgive. We consider a gift to V&E this Wednesday as part of CougsGive and invite your friends on your social media to support WSU V&E as well. Thank you for supporting WSU and Washington wine! Go Cougs!
