With the holidays underway, many people are out shopping for gifts and dining at their favorite restaurants with a glass of wine, toasting and celebrating the season.
For over ten years, Ste. Michelle Winery has partnered with over 400 restaurants where proceeds from that holiday glass of red or white have gone back into Northwest colleges and universities, advancing the study of viticulture and enology.
Since the promotion’s inception in 2008, Ste. Michelle has raised $400,000 to help “support the future grape growers and winemakers of the Pacific Northwest.” The lion’s share of this support goes directly to WSU students in the Viticulture & Enology Program.
Dubbed, “Raise Your Glass, Fund a Scholarship,” the promotion takes place each year between October and December and includes a number of Ste. Michelle brands such as Eroica, Col Solare, and Tenet .
Donating $3 per case sold up to $50,000 to viticulture and enology programs in the northwest, Ste. Michelle is helping to support future grape growers and winemakers.
