We are looking for one full-time intern and one part-time intern for harvest 2023.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting Winemaker with every aspect of Harvest, including cleaning, sanitizing and operating crush equipment, pumps, picking bins, ferment bins, tanks, and everything under the sun needed for a successful harvest. Interns will assist with inoculations, chemical additions and punch downs. You will be involved in processing 100+ tons of several varieties of white and red grapes sourced from Horse Heaven Hills, Yakima Valley, White Bluffs and Rattlesnake Hills in the Columbia Valley. Ideally, you are able to lift 50 lbs and have no fear of climbing ladders or getting inside the press to spray it out at the end of the day. Previous harvest experience is not required. Pay is minimum wage plus OT.
Winery is located in the Horn Rapids Business Center, just minutes from WSU-TC Campus.
