It takes growth
The Viticulture & Enology Program is strengthened by our connections to the wine industry, wine enthusiasts, WSU alumni, and friends of WSU. Together we built one of the largest and most technologically advanced wine research and education centers in the world. As our program expands, we rely on private, philanthropic support to drive additional growth and to help us achieve our potential.
Wine changes everything
Wine is a catalyst for commerce, driving new business development, creating jobs, and opening export opportunities. The wine industry in the Pacific Northwest has catapulted into a global arena, drawing winemakers from home and around the globe to craft premium wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the region’s climate and soils.
The Ste. Michelle Wine Estates WSU Wine Science Center is the right space in the right place to propel the Washington wine industry forward. This research and teaching facility, located in the heart of wine country on the WSU Tri-Cities campus, serves as a gathering place to spark innovation, fuel economic development, support local, regional, national, and international collaboration, and provide a platform for research breakthroughs.
