As the first program of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, the V&E curriculum offers a unique blend of technical, scientific, and practical training necessary for producing high-quality grapes and premium wines. Courses are conducted at the cutting-edge Ste. Michelle Wine Estates WSU Wine Science Center, situated on the WSU Tri-Cities campus in Richland, WA. Nestled in the heart of Washington’s wine country, the Wine Science Center serves as a crucial nexus for students to forge essential connections with industry professionals.

Transferring?

Students may bridge from Walla Walla Community College’s Enology and Viticulture program or Yakima Valley College’s Vineyard and Winery Technology program to the WSU Viticulture and Enology degree. The partnership provides a geographic advantage for students seeking hands-on experience in the heart of Washington wine country.
