SUMMARY:FRAME Workshop - Introduction to Fungicide Resistance and Its Management
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an interactive in-person workshop at WSU IAREC\, in Prosser\, Washington. This event will take place from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM PT\, on Friday\, December 11th\, 2026. \nDuring this workshop\, individuals will learn the basic principles of fungicide resistance: how it develops and how to prevent and mitigate its impacts. The workshop will include both a presentation\, followed by an interactive session that includes a guided review of several grape disease management programs. \nFollowing the session\, individuals will have the knowledge and resources to independently conduct training or educational sessions for individuals within their organization (vineyard managers)\, clients (crop consultants)\, grape industry professionals (extension professionals) or others (interns\, field scouts\, etc.) \nThis event may have ODA and WSDA credits\, pending approval by ODA and WSDA. \nRegistration\nAdvance registration is required and can be completed here: FRAME Workshop Registration \nThere are a limited number of spots available\, and registration will automatically close when the event is full. \nThe contents of this workshop were developed as a part of the Specialty Crop Research Initiative  Award No. 2024-51181-43184 titled “Pathogen Monitoring and Disease Management Within a Vineyard  FRAMEwork\,’ from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture.  Please visit https://framenetworks.wsu.edu/ for more information. \n  \nAnyone attending this program who requires auxiliary aids or services\, please contact Michelle Moyer at 509-786-9234 or michelle.moyer@wsu.edu.
