Division:         Aquilini Beverage Group, USA

Reports to:    Project Manager

Location:       Benton City, WA

Pay Rate:        up to $20.00 per hour

Summary:

We are looking for a full-time Intern to work with our vineyards team during the harvest months of August through October. The successful applicant is proactive and able to work well autonomously.  This is a great position for those interested in a career in Viticulture.  Our 1,800+ acres of beautiful vineyards are located in Red Mountain and Horse Heaven Hills, some of the most Premier wine-growing regions in Washington.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

(other duties may be assigned, as required)

  • 70% Perform grape sampling according to daily schedule
  • 20% Transport grapes to testing lab and coordinate results data
  • 10% Enter test results into website portal

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:                                                 

  • Committed to delivering the highest quality work and seeks continuous improvement
  • Strong computer skills/proficiency in MS Word and Excel and data entry
  • Able to operate an ATV
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn and apply new processes quickly
  • Effective at prioritizing and excellent time management skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable transportation with mileage reimbursed
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends should the need arises
