2017 Harvest Internship, Fielding Hills Winery, Chelan, WA
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: vineyard sample analysis, crush pad operations, forklift operation, fermentation monitoring and management (brix/temp rounds, additions, inoculations, etc.), lab work, press operation, barrel work, racking, and lots and lots of cleaning/sanitizing (sweeping, moping, scrubbing, etc.).
Enthusiastic about winemaking and wine production (previous cellar work preferred, but not required)
Able to accurately preform work orders individually or on a team
Strong communication skills
Flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts and hours (overtime/weekends)
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to lift 50lbs
Forklift skills preferred, but not required
August 1st – October 31st (potentially longer, depending on season)
